At Mindful Hearts Counseling, our mission is to provide high-quality, compassionate care to individuals in life transition, working through relationship challenges, and with mental health needs. We believe in taking a holistic approach to therapy, treating the whole person and not just their symptoms.
A client-centered approach is utilized in the treatment space to focus on the unique needs and goals of each individual. Evidence-based techniques best meet the needs of clients each session while efficiently reducing symptoms. Post session exercises, practices, and book recommendations can be offered.
Treatment specialties include : anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, life transitions, women's health, substance use, life coaching and relationships. Specialized training in EMDR, motivational interviewing, life coaching, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction treat specific conditions.

Mindful Hearts Counseling is a psychotherapy practice that offers individual therapy sessions to help clients work through a range of mental health challenges.
Therapy at Mindful Hearts Counseling can benefit anyone who is struggling with a mental health challenge or looking to improve their overall emotional well-being. We work with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
The frequency of therapy sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. Many clients attend therapy once a week, while others may attend less frequently. We will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.
In your first therapy session, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and your goals for treatment. We will also talk about your medical history and any current symptoms you may be experiencing.
Out of pocket services are charged at $200 per 55 minute session. In network fees are based on your insurance plan, which can be provided by calling the number on the back of your insurance card.
Insurance clients will be accepted when there is availability based on the clinicians caseload. A free consultation can be provided to determine if your insurance is accepted.
Sessions are offered Monday - Friday with varying hours between 8am-5pm PST depending on the day. You can work with your clinician to find the best time that fits your schedule and all sessions are virtual so you don't have to worry about the timing of getting to and from your appointment.
At Mindful Hearts Counseling, we take your privacy seriously. All information shared in therapy sessions is confidential and will not be shared with anyone without your explicit consent.
Our anxiety therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive environment to help you manage symptoms of anxiety, identify triggers, and develop coping strategies. We use evidence-based practices to help you overcome anxiety and improve your mental well-being.
Our depression therapy sessions focus on helping you manage symptoms of depression, identify negative thought patterns, and develop coping strategies. We use evidence-based practices to help you overcome depression and improve your mental well-being.
Our stress management sessions provide tools and techniques to help you manage stress and improve your overall well-being. We focus on developing healthy coping strategies and techniques for managing stressors in your daily life.
Our mindfulness sessions provide tools and techniques to help you develop a greater sense of awareness, reduce stress, and improve your overall mental well-being. We offer individual and group mindfulness sessions for a variety of mental health concerns.
Our trauma therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive environment to help you process and heal from traumatic experiences. We use evidence-based practices to help you overcome trauma and improve your mental well-being.
Clients who are a good fit for KAP are those who feel stuck and want to do deeper work to move beyond the stuckness. The medicine can also support clients to tap into their capacity for change or break through barriers. KAP can bring back hope and is a powerful too to improve your outcomes and depend the therapeutic relationship.
